For classic, timeless elegance, we work with locally sourced Cherry wood, one of the most prized cabinet and furniture hardwoods. This wood is celebrated for its warm reddish-brown tones, fine grain, and ability to develop a deep, beautiful patina with age. It carves and finishes exceptionally well, highlighting its smooth, satiny texture and beautiful luster. Our Cherry wood is the perfect material for creating heirloom-quality furniture that will be cherished for generations.
Walnut
Create a luxurious and sophisticated piece with Virginia Walnut, a highly sought-after native hardwood. Appreciated for its rich, deep brown tones and hints of purple and gray, walnut has long been a favorite of woodworkers for fine furniture. Its grain is typically straight but can also feature beautiful waves or curls, and it offers excellent workability. We also use a steel wool and vinegar solution to ebonize walnut to produce rich dark tones. The distinct beauty and consistent nature of walnut make it an ideal choice for crafting high-end tables, cabinets, and unique accents.
